Welcoming the dear viewer on this UNIQUE site. It’s an ab initio declaration that SITE is not for any publicity of any person but with the sole and bona fide intention to serve the mankind with all the resources available and help them get rid of their suffering.
Even the greatest of the saints and saviours of mankind like Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Jesus Christ, Lord Budhha, Guru Nanak, Lord Mahavir, Prophet Mohammad all said one thing- “There is suffering in the world’. So, without going into details it is being concluded that “Mankind suffers”. But why?
As it’s neither a political nor a philosophical site, rather it’s a legal Advisory/Assistance site, so remaining within the limited parameters, let us analyse a few causes of suffering: A child may be suffering because he is forced to do what is not legally/ scientifically approved. A student is suffering because he/she feels that they have not been given fair treatment. Service holders are suffering as they might be innocent but still being charged or not being fairly treated. The business class is suffering due to high handedness of various agencies. Spouses are suffering, parents are suffering. The list is endless, but the cause is common- unfair or unjust disposition.
I have not as yet met the Lucky person(s), who have never experienced UNJUST, UNFAIR or INEQUITABLE treatment and such treatment/ disposal brings one into depressive /oppressive mode, which can only be resolved peacefully by finding a judicious solution.
So, the human society (Civilisation) from the time immaterial started searching to find people, who could ensure them justice and for this, people with special skills were found. In ancient period they were called Rishis (Sages) and in the medieval period they were glamourised as Courtiers. They were people with wisdom, who would advise the King/ Ruler (the ultimate judicial authority) on complicated issues of civil disputes and criminal offenses.
As the civilisation progressed and various codes of laws started evolving, the need for more such people with specialised knowledge and a faculty of knowledge called “Law” was created and these specialists are called by different names for different domains like Barristers, Lawyers, Attorney, Consultants, Advocates, etc.
The history will speak for itself that be it the French revolution, the American revolution or the Indian freedom movement, these people have been the pioneers of greatest contributors.
Habit is the second nature of man. So the habit of seeking/fighting for justice at the legal forums inculcated in them the fight for justice of the entire country and countrymen and the end result is before us. Liberation of enumerable mankind from suffering and injustice, allowing them to breathe in an independent country.
As the Homo Sapiens started growing in wisdom and knowledge, it was felt that the earlier respected people; who had knowledge on wide spectrum basis and could be more or less categorised as “Jack of many trades”; were no more appropriate, as the time is of “Masters”. It can be seen in all departments- be it Medical, Engineering, Legal, etc. and so the experts gained relevance.
As it’s a very primary (basic) note, so no elaborate discussion is being done, otherwise every para would require voluminous elaboration and further as the issue is also being kept confined to growth of “Legal Faculty only”, hence we will briefly restrict within it’s periphery.
Moving ahead of vedic period and beginning from the days of “Code of Hammurabi” which was discovered in 1901 and said to have been created in 1754 B.C; had 282 laws with scaled punishment covering areas of (a) Contract like wages to be paid to artisans/surgeons, liability for builders; (b) Household and family relationship like inheritance, divorce, paternity and sexual behaviour and (c ) government officials, judges and military service personnel; though we commonly remember it by the law of “an eye for an eye & a tooth for a tooth”.
There are number of sites which provide valuable information on history of law in India including the respected site of Bar Council of India and so keeping within the periphery of objective of giving a bird’s eye view of the relevant issue, we proceed further with the lines that if those 282 codes of Hammurabi be given status of 282 sections still it’s smaller than most of the laws which contain more than double number of sections. So, whereas a stone piece engravement was good enough some 4000 years ago, now we have laws in such number that it is almost impossible to even name them. For example, there were about 1248 laws in January 2017 in India.
The above para is aimed to highlight the magnitude of elevation and growth of law and also to show the complexity of law. Every now and then some new Act is taking birth and some old Act is undergoing rejuvenation. So, Law is a living process so it’s complexity.
It is believed that it’s enough to ascertain that it is very difficult for a common citizen to be aware with various laws, which provide them both, the RIGHT and also the DUTIES.
Due to ignorance of relevant laws, either we fail to perform a mandatory duty or fall short of gaining our mandated right. This leads to frustration and suffering as one feels that justice has not been given to him. This is where Legal experts come to our rescue and thankfully country is rich in such experts.
As the field of law is vast, we have renowned personalities/ experts for different areas and with sole intention to bring experts from various fields on one platform, so that justice seekers are able to seek help for different issues at one place (saving valuable time, money, energy and unwanted journey and above all apprehensions/uncertainties) , this site has been created.
This is not the first of it’s kind , but nevertheless an all out efforts have been made to make it unique in best possible way.
The “unique” word in above para certainly raises the inquisitiveness – Oh Unique- how? So, it is basic need to bring on record, though in minimum possible words, to exhibit the uniqueness. For this it will be better to realise what aspirations may people desire, who are forced to seek legal help. Our socio economic position, in the present time, is such that we all are over pressed with the works already in our hands and any exigency , be it due to legal, medical, social or otherwise reasons, is mostly an unforeseen, unplanned and so we are unprepared. However, as it is important and unavoidable we start planning and thereafter executing whatever best we can.
As my domain is related to legal issues, so I will focus on legal matters, where exigency is different from other issues, as here mostly we get some time to think and plan but then unlike other issues here the issue may prolong longer than all other issues. That makes it more important for making a better choice. While making choices, some of the common facts we look for may be: Are we giving our issues to the right people? Will they be able to manage my all the issues? What if my problem is in various cities? Will they be able to represent me at higher forum, if need be? And so on..
If the answer of all the above apprehensions is in affirmation, then we take a sigh a relief and say to ourselves, Thank God, I do not have to run too much and now I can look after my regular work.
This is what we mean. We will represent on all legal forums by distinguished professionals listed in our panel.
